Elgg code continues to advance

The Curverider team has continued to make progress on their code in spite of the controversy surrounding the Elgg community. The important thing to remember is that they are still focused on the core code. Having looked at the trac and SVN repository, I would expect to see a release any time now.

Keep your eyes out for an Elgg 1.2. It is reassuring to know that they are continuing work and are making the fruits of their efforts available to all.

Cool. Personally, I’m looking forward to being able to integrate different Elgg instances using OpenDD. Any features along these lines in the SVN repository?

The only thing that I could dig up in trac was a change that Marcus committed to engine/lib/opendd.php a couple weeks ago. There were no comments appended to the revision. Otherwise I do not see much along those lines.

I believe this is mostly cleanup and bug fixing.

I agree with the view that it’s mostly about closing filed bugs and defects on the public trac. There has been quite a lot of them solved with recent changes in SVN that apparently led up to the release of 1.2.
