Yes, I do remember. Perhaps it will be a surprise addition, or there were difficulties with the implementation.

I certainly hope it appears!

Steve do you remember the drag'n'drop file feature?

I'm sure that was in the roadmap for 1.5 but I don't see it there?

Phil

Oh one more thing - how do I upload my avatar here?

At the current rate, it seems more likely that we'll see 1.5 in the spring than February.

I don't know much about Elgg Classic, but if there is still significant functionality missing in Elgg 1.x plus plugins, what would a migration look like? Would members of classic Elgg sites want to migrate if it meant losing functionality? What would be the minimal set of functionality necessary before a migration to Elgg 1.x is beneficial?

I know that the migration was a part of the roadmap in the past. I can only assume that there are some snags in the path. The Curverider folks have a considerable interest in migrating installations from Classic to Elgg 1.x as they have major institutional installations that are still using the older version.

Who comes up with this list? Are all these thing badly needed?

To me, 0.9–>1.x migration is the most important thing, and I don't see how they can keep making changes without doing that first. I think that was a big mistake not to tackle that first thing.

The next things on the list should be adding back all the features that were lost in the original version, like the Wall.
